Listings and catalog

A listing is not a piece of marketing copy. It is a database record that decides whether Amazon shows your product at all. We treat the catalog as an asset to be maintained — written for shoppers, structured for the search engine, and checked line by line.

What is included

Everything on this list is work we perform, not a menu of upsells.

  • Keyword research and mapping. Terms mapped to the field they belong in — title, bullets, description, backend search terms and structured attributes — with no wasteful duplication across fields.
  • Listing copy. Titles inside category byte limits, five benefit-led bullets, and description or A+ copy written for a shopper who is comparing four tabs at once.
  • Backend search terms and attributes. Search terms, subject matter, intended use, target audience and every other structured field that feeds retrieval and filtering.
  • Category, browse node and attribute fixes. Getting products into the right node so they can rank, filter and win the badges available to that category.
  • Variation families. Parent and child relationships built or rebuilt on the right variation theme, so reviews and traffic consolidate instead of scattering.
  • New product setup. New ASIN creation from scratch, including GTIN and brand attribution, dimensions, hazmat and compliance fields.
  • Flat files and bulk edits. Category listing reports and partial-update flat files for catalog-wide changes, with a saved copy of every file we upload.
  • Suppressed, stranded and inactive SKUs. The recurring cleanup that quietly restores sales: missing attributes, image failures, pricing errors, fulfilment mismatches.
  • Duplicate and hijacked listings. Merging duplicates, correcting contribution errors and reporting listing hijacks through the correct channel.
  • International listings. Localisation rather than machine translation, plus the per-marketplace compliance fields each locale requires.
  • Structured testing. Where the account qualifies, Manage Your Experiments for titles, images and A+, with results read at statistical honesty rather than the first favourable day.

Next step

Send us your account and we will tell you what we would change first.

We review the catalog, the advertising and the account health, then come back with a written list of what is costing you money and what we would do about it. No charge, no obligation to work with us.

What we will need
  • The marketplaces you sell in today
  • Read-only access, or exported reports if you prefer
  • Your landed cost per unit, so margin numbers are real
  • Whichever problem is bothering you most right now
