Analytics and reporting

Amazon will happily tell you your sales went up. It is much less forthcoming about whether you made any money. We build the picture that includes fees, advertising, returns and landed cost, and report on the number at the end of that sum.

What is included

Everything on this list is work we perform, not a menu of upsells.

  • Contribution margin by ASIN. Gross sales less referral fees, fulfilment fees, advertising, landed cost, returns and storage — per product, per marketplace, per month.
  • Break-even modelling. The maximum you can pay for a click before a sale stops being worth having. This is what sets bids.
  • Advertising efficiency analysis. Spend, attributed sales, search-term performance and share of total sales, read against margin rather than in isolation.
  • Brand Analytics interpretation. Search query performance, market basket and repeat purchase behaviour, used to find demand you are not currently capturing.
  • Demand forecasting. Unit forecasts and weeks of cover by SKU, feeding purchase order timing and shipment planning.
  • Fee and settlement audit. Dimension and weight tier checks, fee category checks, and identification of overcharges, losses and damages worth claiming.
  • Category and competitor tracking. Price, availability, review velocity and content changes among the products you actually lose sales to.
  • Reporting you can use. A weekly one-page summary, a monthly profit and loss, and a quarterly review — in a format your finance team recognises.
  • Dashboards where they earn their keep. Built from your own Seller Central reports and, where you authorise it, read-only API access. Never a black box you cannot check.
  • Data you can verify. Every figure traces back to a source report we can show you. If a number cannot be reconciled, we say so rather than smoothing it.

What you receive

Deliverables and cadence, written into the service agreement.

  • Weekly one-page summary: sales, spend, margin, actions
  • Monthly profit and loss by ASIN and marketplace
  • A break-even model kept current with your costs
  • A rolling demand forecast with weeks of cover
  • A quarterly fee and reimbursement audit
Access we need

The permissions this work needs, granted under your own account.

  • Reports permission. Business reports, settlement and payment reports, inventory and returns reports.
  • Brand Analytics. Available to brands enrolled in Brand Registry.
  • Selling Partner API, read-only, where you authorise it. Used only to automate report retrieval. Access is granted by you and can be withdrawn by you.
  • Your cost inputs. Landed cost per unit, freight, duty and any third-party costs. Without these, margin reporting is guesswork.
Next step

Send us your account and we will tell you what we would change first.

We review the catalog, the advertising and the account health, then come back with a written list of what is costing you money and what we would do about it. No charge, no obligation to work with us.

What we will need
  • The marketplaces you sell in today
  • Read-only access, or exported reports if you prefer
  • Your landed cost per unit, so margin numbers are real
  • Whichever problem is bothering you most right now
